As horribly sexist as it sounds Pride and no prejudice proud to stand with pride shirt would recommend a friend or family member and their husband/boyfriend. Or her brother or something having a guy along adds a layer of safety, plus it's possible people who won't take OP seriously will take a dude seriously.Edit: I've been informed that my suggestion isn't really sexist, so that's good.Because it's been mentioned multiple times, with the level of controlling OP husband seems to be by reading both her post and comments. I simply figured that she likely didn't have male friends because her husband wouldn't be okay with it and that she may have been isolated from her friends or family. That's all, not saying women can't have male friends or anything, just that I assumed OP didn't have male friends at this point.
